The Richmond World Festival is the City’s signature event attracting over 35,000 people in 2016. On Friday, August 31 and Saturday, September 1, this festival will celebrate the city’s cultural diversity though music, food, sport and art from around the world. The event features over 75 artists on the festival’s nine stages. And ever popular FEASTival of Flavours returns with over 50 of the region’s best food trucks. There’s something for everyone and admission is free!
We took the most beautiful Greek Ballads of the last four decades and wrapped in our very own acoustic blanket. Come listen and sing with us, as we present this music in a stripped down format with nylon-stringed guitar, clarinet, flute, sax, upright bass and various hand percussion. Covering a wide range of Greek composers and vocalists from Xaris Alexiou to Antonis Remos, Nikos Vertis, Kostantinos Argyros and Antonis Vardis there is a song here for everyone.
